Reception children wearing their Easter bonnets and hats ready for their big parade. 
Reception have been counting down the days on their advent table by exploring different signs and symbols of Christmas. 
Reception have been exploring Hinduism and the festival of Diwali. They made diva lamps using clay. 
Rangoli patterns with bottle lids, beans and lentils. 
Reception have been talking about things and people that are special to them. 
Nursery making Cornish Cream Teas for St.Piran's Day. 
Nursery have been learning to retell the Nativity story to remember why we celebrate Christmas. 
Nursery have been exploring the taste and smells of Christmas. 
Exploring Harvest produce. 
Nursery have been making new friends and learning to explore together. 
EYFS and KS1 celebrated Harvest together during an assembly with Mr Rudge. We all practiced a song to celebrate and be thankful for our food during this Harvest season. We collected food for St.Austell Food Bank too. A big thank you to all of our parents for their donations. Also a big thank you to Claire Louise Hunt, the community coordinator for Tesco who presented us with a magnificent Harest Loaf to share after our assembly.
