Street Surfing
These budding street surfers are beginning to master the skills of this epic new sport!
KS1 Gymnastics
Our excellent gymnasts from Year 1 and 2 travelled to Summercourt to take part in an exciting gymnastics competition. All of the children had a wonderful time learning new skills and competing against other schools.
Swimming
Our swimming team recently headed off to the Cornwall School Games Qualifier at Polkyth. We finished 2nd in our heat. Their speed swimming, that they have been perfecting during training, is really developing.

Tri Golf
Our lunchtime golf club has been a hit! (Sorry for the pun!) No, it really has been smashing.(Sorry again!) The children have been learning to chip the ball off the floor by adding a bit of back swing and a small follow through. We have had lots of children coming up and giving golf a shot! (Finally, sorry for the pun!)

During November we competed against our friends from Aspire (Biscovey) in two tri golf competitions. 24 children from each school took part in two great afternoons of golf. Both schools had a fantastic time putting, chipping and driving. Best of all we got chance to spend time with children we had never met before.
Tag Rugby

Our tag rugby players were lucky enough to compete in the Aspire Tag Rugby Tournament at St Austell Rugby Club. We had a fantastic time. In our group of 8 schools, we lost just 2, drew 1 and won 4.
Projectability
20 of our wonderful pupils headed for St Austell Rugby Club to take part in the exciting projectability event where they experienced a range of multi-skills events.  We had a great time! Check out the pictures!
Cross Country
The cross country team take part in the St Austell and District Cross Country League. We have lots of children who attend cross country club on a Wednesday lunchtime where we continually look to beat our personal bests. Check out our December mannequin challenge before we raced.
Indoor Athletics
Basketball

Some of our Year 6 pupils who shone during their PE lessons had the opportunity to take part in the area qualifier for the school games for basketball. The children developed their skills in these competitive situations. A huge well done to Callum who was named most improved player of the tournament.
