And we’re off (13.09.19)
This week we have been busy beginning new learning in each of our subject areas. The children have enjoyed both practical and written lessons this week and have worked extremely hard in all lessons. Our first full week back has been jam packed and the children have displayed curiosity and self-motivation throughout the week.
Year 2 have enjoyed their first P.E lesson focusing on movement and balance.
We worked supportively in Computing to code, taking turns and sharing.
Year 2 have explored different ways of representing a two digit number.
Great reading outside of school. Well done on completing the Summer reading challenge.
We read the story ‘The Rainbow Fish’ and discussed what made a good friend. In English we wrote individual letters to Rainbow Fish explaining how he could change his behaviour and in turn make new friends in the ocean. We thought of questions for hot seating and enjoyed discussing the possible responses.
