29.03.18 Easter is here

Wow what a week in the life of nursery. It's been so active and fun. Easter is upon us and Spring is in our steps. We have been out the garden this week planting vegetables, making mud hot cross buns, building a tomb out of stones and Easter egg hunting.
The children loved the Easter story and were very interested in the pictures. They asked lots of questions and soaked up all the information given then used this through their play. Some of the children built a tomb out of rocks and pebbles found in the garden. Other children were interested in new life researching  and the growing of vegetables.
The children confidently smashed each task that the Easter bunny set for them which included making a nest, drawing a chick, painting a basket, counting out eggs and hunting for eggs (the favourite).
The children worked so hard at home on their Easter bonnets and eggs. We had a wonderful s lectionaries of what Easter meant to each individual family from chicks in nests to rabbits and even tractors.
Enjoy your Easter holidays with your family and we look forward to seeing you all back to nursery on the 16th April.
