20.04.18 Venus Fly Trap
Welcome back after the Easter holidays. We hope you had a lovely, relaxing time.
We started our new topic of 'Sowing and Growing' and investigated a Venus fly trap. We were fascinated by the idea of a plant that eats mini beasts.
In Maths we learnt how to measure length, mass and capacity using non-standard units.
Well done Ella for passing from level 3 to level 4 in her swimming lessons.
Thank you Zenna for bringng in this special book to further our topic learning,
We really enjoyed being able to get outside in the sunshine for PE this week. We looked at different ways of moving around the playground.
We wrote descriptions for the inside of the Giant's castle from the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk.' We used adjectives to describe what you would see, hear, smell, taste and touch
Ellie has been busy at home finding the longest leaf, the smallest flower and the widest piece of bark as part of her project homework.
