Nursery
What a wet and windy week it was last week. That didn't stop the children in the nursery from enjoying the outdoors though! We made potions using things we found outside. We rode our bikes through a muddy puddle to see how big we could make the waves and jumped in it as well!
We practiced our mark making by rolling cones in paint and then onto paper. We also used water and paint brushes to do mark making outside.
We worked as a whole group to make a giant rainbow out of collage materials, we explored different colours and said some interesting things that we know about rainbows.
We have also been exploring our new role play area. It's a Doctors Surgery and we have been bandaging sore arms and legs, checking for sore throats and giving each other medicine.
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents that came to look at our learning journeys, it was lovely to see so many of you there. For those that couldn't make it there will be another opportunity around Christmas time and we look forward to seeing you then.
