This week we have been learning about Guy Fawkes and the gun power plot.
In literacy we learnt the story and retold it in our own words. Have a listen to some of us.
In art we made our own bonfire pictures using different types of paper such as card, tissue paper and shiny paper. Doesn’t our display look very good.
We also thought about ways in which we can keep ourselves safe on bonfire night.
We came up with these key points:
Never touch fireworks
Stand well back from the bonfire
Never go near a firework after it has been lit.
Always wear gloves when holding a sparkler.
Keep pets inside.
Thursday 15th November it is polling day.
Friday 16th November it is Children in Need. We will be showing our support by having a non-uniform day. Children are asked to wear spotty clothing! 50p donation.
