This week in Literacy we have started our topic of night and day. So far we have discussed and recorded our current knowledge and understanding of the topic. We already know that:
In the day
- the sun comes out
- we go to school
- we see animals such as butterflies, squirrels, cows and horses
- the moon and the stars come out
- we go to bed
- we see animals such as badgers, foxes and hedgehogs
In ICT we researched more about the animals we were learning about in class. To explore the website we used click onthe picture of the fox

We learned that bats use echolocation to locate their prey. Here is a song about it:
In Maths we have been working really hard to share objects and numbers into halves and quarters. We learned about the division sign and what each part in a division sum represents. Here is a game that shows what we have been doing in class and can be used to consolidate skills at home: http://www.topmarks.co.uk/Flash.aspx?f=sharingv2
